Balloch Highland Games Order of Play, 2019

Balloch Highland Games - CLASP Competition 2019

Balloch Highland Games will be held on Saturday 13th July at Moss o’ Balloch Park, Balloch. Competitor passes will be posted to competitors prior to the competition. These passes need to be present at the gate to gain access to the games field. Please email dunn@thepipingcentre.co.uk if the postal address on the CLASP system is different to where you current reside.

All competitors should register from 9am at the secretaries tent. There is one CLASP platform and the starting time is 10am. The first event will be grade 3 Piobaireachd. Please note that, on the day, CLASP will be run by Balloch Highland Games and there will be no crit sheets, medals or overall winners of grades.

Luss Highland Games order of play, 2019

Luss Highland Games will be held on Saturday 6th July at Luss Games Field.

Message from Luss Secretary:
Pipers should be on the field for 10am and report to the piping secretary’s tent. Pipers should use the main gate to save queuing this year. No payment is required at entry to field. Pipers should give their name at the games field entrance, which, if they are entered, will be on the list.

Please note that on the day the competition will be run by Luss Highland Games and there will be no crit sheets, medals or overall winners of grades.

Please note that the entries will close tomorrow, Wednesday 26th June, for the Highland Games. The games which CLASP members can compete at include, Luss 6th July, Balloch 13th July, Rosneath 14th July and Inveraray Highland Games on Tuesday 16th July.

Please note that there will be two performance rooms, with Light Music and Piobaireachd events running simultaneously. Grade 3 Piobaireachd will start at 9.30am and Grade 1 Light Music will also start at 9.30am.

Entries open for ‘World Solo Amateur Piping Competition’ at Piping Live! 2019

 

Entries are now open for the 'World Solo Amateur Piping Competition' at Piping Live! This competition is open to adult amateur pipers worldwide, graded 3, 2 or 1. If you require a grading please visit the grading section of the website for more information.

The venue is St Aloysius College, Hill Street, Glasgow.

For non members, please note that the membership payment structure is as follows:

CLASP Membership payment windows:
1st November - 31st March - £40 (1 years membership)
1st April - 30th June - £30
1st - July - 31st October - £20

The closing date for entries will be 31st July, 2019.

Monday 12th August will start with Grade 3 amateur solo piping events. Tuesday, 13th August - Grade 2 and Wednesday 14th August Grade 1.

 

 

Highland Games 2019 – Entries Now Open

This year CLASP will hold events at four of Scotland's biggest Highland Games, Luss, Balloch, Rosneath and Inveraray. Entries are open to CLASP members who are graded 3, 2 or 1.
